IF you wish to sponsor a parish council seat, in memory of a loved one, contact Jan Burgess or the parish council secretary, Lucy Fletcher, on 897430 for further details. The seats are located throughout the parish and a memorial plaque will be placed on the seat by the parish council.
WILL those who in the past collected their parish
magazines from the village shop please note that they are able to have the magazine delivered. Contact Kate Johnson on 895601 who will be able to arrange this.
THE next EPRA draw will be on Saturday 2 August at the Horseshoe Hotel.
THE next dance in the village hall with Night Owl will be on Friday 1 August from 8-11pm, admission £2.50 including tea and biscuits. Proceeds will be for the Egton Bridge Old Gooseberry Show and all are very welcome.
MEMBERS of the parish are warned that there will be road works during the next few days and are advised not to park cars on the roads. Road works will be on the Egton to Glaisdale road from Thursday to Monday 4 August, Egton to Egton Bridge road from Monday 4 August to Friday 8 August and Egton to Grosmont on Tuesday 5 to Saturday 9 August. These dates have been advised by the council but bad weather may cause adjustments to the dates.
ADVANCE notice is given of the annual supper which will be held in the village hall on Friday 12 September starting at 6.30pm. The two course meal will be £7.50 inclusive of coffee/tea. Further details nearer the date.

EGTON Parish Hall is available to hire. For bookings contact Mrs J Harrison at Watergate Farm on 895281. Regular events in Egton Parish Hall: Monday, 6.30-8.30pm sequence and old time dancing; Tuesday, 6pm Aerotone, 7.30pm short mat bowling, first Tuesday in each month, 7.30pm whist drive; Wednesday, 1.30pm social sequence dancing beginners, 2.30pm advanced (except first Wednesday in month), 7pm beginners' line dancing, 8pm line dancing; first Wednesday in each month, 2pm Ladies' Fellowship; Friday, the first in each month, dancing to Night Owl, 8pm, £2.50.

CLUBS
TODDLER group of the Egton Playgroup in the Station buildings, Egton Bridge on Thursday afternoons, 2-3.30pm. For more details ring 895563.
BEGINNERS sequence dancing on Wednesdays at 1.30pm in Egton Village Hall (advanced 2.30pm). Ring (07894) 446961 for more details or transport.
PILATES in Egton Village Hall on Tuesdays, 6-7pm, emphasis on posture, core and flexibility, all welcome.
