FUTURE outings for the Over-60s Club: Tuesday 6 May there is a trip to the Whitby Area Musical Theatre Company's production of Oliver with a fish and chip tea at Mr Chips. The alternative is an afternoon outing to the Dorman Museum.

www.festivalonthemoor.co.uk THE Moordale branch of the YCA meets at 3pm on Wednesday 14 May for a visit to Danby National Park Centre for tea. This will be followed by a coffee morning with raffle and stalls on Saturday 17 May in the village hall.

THE Meet Shop is now open Monday-Friday from 10am-noon and 2-4pm as a drop-in centre. All welcome.
OLDER residents are invited to a keep fit class every Friday from 10.30-11.15am in Castleton Village Hall. There is an exercise programme to suit varied abilities and ends with a cup of tea and a biscuit. The cost is £1.50 per session.
TAI Chi and Chi Gung on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the village hall, suitable for all ages, no prior knowledge necessary, wear loose clothing, £5 per class. Further details from Sandie on (01287) 669101.
FESTIVAL on the Moor's youth project, Shoots & Roots runs alternate Fridays from 6-8pm at Danby Methodist Chapel.
