How cheering it was to see the picture of the smiling bikers enjoying their fish and chips so generously donated by the Magpie Cafe.
It lifted the gloom felt by my friends and I when we went to another well-known establishment in Whitby, expecting to have half price meals with the tokens we had collected from your paper.

Imagine the consternation we felt when confronted by the full price bill and the information we had failed to spot, the small print saying the offer was only valid between certain times of the day.

We felt we had truly been catch of the day.

Rose Wall, Sneaton
