A SPECIAL day of activities has been held at St Hedda's School.
There was a Pentecost Day at the school earlier this month, when the children went to school wearing red and yellow clothes, the colours which symbolise Pentecost.
Headteacher Mari Palmer said: “We started the day with an assembly taken by Anthony Hay, Diocesan RE co-ordinator, who joined us for the day.
“Throughout the day the children took part in lots of activities which included making buns, wind socks and prayer doves.
“We also had a picnic at lunch time in the playground.
It was a very enjoyable day.”
