Club off to great start
CASTLETON, Danby and District Bowling Club have had a successful start to the season with two wins so far.
In the Cleveland League they beat Saltburn 84-68 (8 points to 2 points) and Borough Park Rangers 72-71 (6 points to 4 points).
Today (Fri), the club play Guisborough King George V at 6.30pm at home and on Tuesday, they are away to Great Ayton.
There are two friendly matches at the weekend, against Loftus away on Saturday and against Stokesley home on Sunday.
Both matches start at 2.30pm.
The Langbaurgh Triples League gets under way on Wednesday with a home match against Zetland Park at 6.30pm.
