SPORTING youngsters have been celebrating after their school was handed a brand new football kit.
Goathland Primary School received the £400 Nike kit from the Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity, as part of its junior kit scheme.

Headteacher Susan Chadwick said: “The new strip is a huge boost and the team looks great.

“By kitting out young players across the country, the Football Foundation’s junior kit scheme is another great way of encouraging youngsters to get into football and stay healthy and active.”

Paul Thorogood, chief executive of the Football Foundation, added: “Goathland School has been successful in securing this new kit and equipment.
