LEALHOLM went out of the League Cup at Stokesley despite a brave fightback after trailing by three goals at the break.
John Dowd headed home a cross from Craig Johnson before Kevin Hugill tapped home for Stokesley's second.

Craig Johnson added a third shortly before the break but Lealholm came back strongly in the second half with two goals in the space of 10 minutes.

Stokesley's composure was restored when substitute Mark Shimwell fired home a thundering drive and Hugill made sure with his second of the game.

WHITBY Fishermen took the lead three times in their game at home to Boosbeck United but in the end they had to settle for a point after the sides shared eight goals.

Dean Ward opened the scoring for the Fishermen only for United to equalise minutes later.

Dean's brother James saw his strike matched as Boosbeck levelled for a second time. Two quick goals from Fishermen's Paul Jobling looked to have sealed the points but United came battling back for a point after Fishermen had been reduced to 10 men.
